SWIMMING POOL INSTALLATION & RENOVATION
Start with a new pool or the one you already have.
Installation, replacement, renovation and surface updates are different projects. Begin with the existing condition, the change you want and access to the property.

DEFINE THE WORK
Pool project options.
Identify whether the project starts with a new site or an existing pool, then choose the work being considered.
Swimming pool installation
Begin with the proposed pool type, size and site. Access, excavation, utility needs and required approvals shape the installation scope.
Swimming pool replacement
Separate removal of the existing pool from the new installation. Site preparation, access and utilities need to be considered together.
Swimming pool renovation
Identify the worn finishes or selected features you want to change. Existing condition and the agreed work determine the boundaries of the renovation.
Pool resurfacing
Focus on the existing surface, its preparation and the intended finish. Tile, coping and other repairs should be identified as separate scope questions.
Pool tile & coping replacement
Review the affected pool edge, materials and removal needs. Existing edge conditions and any related repairs need their own assessment.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Plan the details.
01
Existing pool or new site
Record the pool type and size if known. For an existing pool, identify the surfaces or features causing concern.
02
Property access
Note the route to the pool area and nearby features that may affect the work. Related decking, equipment and landscaping are separate questions.
03
What shapes the estimate
Pool type and size, existing condition, removal, preparation, access, utilities, finish choices and related work determine the scope.
PLANNING AHEAD
Common questions.
Are resurfacing and renovation the same thing?
Resurfacing focuses on the pool surface and its preparation. A renovation may address selected finishes or features beyond that surface; identify each part of the intended work.
Is decking or landscaping included?
Poolside paving is available as a separately agreed part of the project. A pool quote does not automatically include paving or landscaping.
